Sunday, September 20th, 2009Oropharyngeal Airways and Nasopharyngeal Airways. Someone needs to look this up in the book and get back to me, because the video says that one of the times that you would use a nasal airway would be with a patient with extreme facial injuries, but if I remember correctly, you need to be very careful with a patient with that type of injury, because if their facial bones are broken, then they hit hard enough to open their cranial cavity and you might end up killing them with a nasal airway that ends up going the wrong direction and ending up in their brain….
Somebody check this out and get back to me…. Or, I’ll find it myself if you’re all too lazy to help…. common people, a little help here!
